Kitaba Social in Montreal
● KITABA SOCIAL ●
Kitaba socials. This isn’t your typical kiz social. Kitaba socials are designed to bring a slice of Angolan Culture to Montreal
Traditional #semba AND #kizomba AND #kuduro AND #afrohouse, mixed together with smiles, laughter and the vibes of Kizomba Canada and its students.
Every Wednesday, starting in November, we will be offering a weekly complimentary (free!) kizomba class at 8:30pm, followed by our Kitaba social from 9:30pm-midnight. In the middle of a long work week, what better way to spice up your life and still get home at a reasonable hour. You’ll be humming kizomba songs for the rest of the week at the office.
Kitaba is a very typical dish in Angolan cuisine.
It is mashed roasted peanuts, mixed with salt and a sprinkle of spicy gindungo on top. Thick and buttery, the cooler edgier older cousin to peanut butter. When served with chicken, it produces a flavor called mwamba. You eat mwamba and it fixes you up real good, body and soul. You already know, our Kitaba socials are gonna fix you up just as good.
#KitabaSocial Video recap The Grand Opening of Kitaba Social happen last week. We do it deferent in Kizomba Canada We had to introduce to the new dancers some of the Kizomba Canada Social Dancing rules. 1. We dont want no wall decoration, if someone is available to dance with than dance. 2. No 20 songs whit the same person, dance with most people possible. everybody must be dancing at Kitaba. Respect all that and we will keep an healthy dance floor and you can believe that Kizomba team is here to make sure of that. So much fun, so many new faces, so many dances.
